We also quickly discuss any special requests (material type, product use) or concerns with the customer if required. For example, the technical or structural requirements that are difficult to meet at the current stage will be resolved through consultation with customer engineers by lowering the technical requirements, changing the product structure or adding technical auxiliary means.

Design the Tooling:

Based on the part design and customer requirements, you can begin designing the tooling. This will typically involve creating a 3D model of the dies and tooling using computer-aided design (CAD) software. You may also need to consider factors such as the material to be used, the type of press to be used, and the production volume.

Simulate the Process:

Once you have a 3D model of the tooling, you can simulate the stamping process using computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software. This will help you identify any potential problems or areas of concern, such as material thinning, tearing, or wrinkling. You can then make any necessary adjustments to the tooling design.

Prototype and Test:

After the tooling design is finalized, you can create a prototype of the dies and test them in a production setting. Predict stress, strain and deformation for a given forming load and assess whether the die structure has sufficient stiffness. This will help you identify any additional issues or adjustments that need to be made.

Production:

Once the tooling has been tested and approved, it can be put into production. You may need to work closely with the customer during this process to ensure that the stamping process is producing parts that meet their requirements.
